Let’s do a scenic drive, meet for lunch at Julian Beer Company (great BBQ & more!) and talk about our favorite common thing – our Teslas! What’s your favorite aftermarket accessory? What are you looking to add to your Model? What about driving your car still has you guessing? This is the perfect time to get answers to all those questions, and more!
After lunch, head across the street to Julian Pie Company for some famous pies to bring home. Main Street also offers some great places for exploring like the Antique Boutique, Julian Book House, California Wolf Center, Pioneer Museum, and the Julian Candy Basket. Or tour a gold mine (Eagle Mining Co.) just a few blocks away. In nearby Wynola, you will find Julian Farm and Orchard where you can pick up a pumpkin to use as a decoration or make your own pie.
Caravan with us from El Cajon, or plot your own course to arrive at Julian Beer Company by 11:45 AM-12 PM. We’ll meet in the restaurant parking lot and go in as a group.
The group will gather in the Target parking lot (250 Broadway, El Cajon, CA 92021) in El Cajon starting at 10 AM. (Note: There's a Starbucks in the same lot if anyone needs a caffine fix). Look for the red club flag. We'll head out at 10:30.
We'll pass the Iron Mountain trailhead at about 10:50 (no sooner). This will be an easy place to join us if you're coming from Poway or points west. Be waiting in the parking lot; you'll see us coming from a mile away. Fall in behind us as we pass by.
People coming from Escondido (and points west) can join us as we pass through Ramona where route 78 meets route 67 at about 11:05 (no sooner).
Anyone coming from the north can join us as we pass by the Santa Ysabel Superchargers at about 11:30 (no sooner).
Our drive will end at the Julian Beer Company parking lot at about 11:45.
